NZ Windfarms has confirmed a $75 million share issue to meet future funding requirements.
The offer comprised 68.2 million ordinary shares at an issue price of $1.10 per share.
As previously announced, electricity distributor Vector would become a cornerstone shareholder in Windfarms by subscribing for 15.7 million shares in the issue, giving it a 19.99 per cent stake in the company once the offer was completed, Windfarms said.
A trading halt was placed on Windfarms shares on Wednesday pending the offer announcement.
Trading resumed yesterday with Windfarms' share price surging 19c to close at $2.14 , from Tuesday's close of $1.95.
