US oil and gas producer Kerr-McGee is nearing a deal to sell its UK North Sea oil assets to Danish shipping giant AP Moeller-Maersk for about US$3 billion, a source says.
The deal will involve Maersk buying most of the operations, with Britain's Centrica getting a few smaller fields for US$500 million.
