Unison to cut electricity prices

Hawkes Bay electricity distributor Unison Networks has agreed to reduce its average prices from December 1.

The agreement is part of a deal Unison has negotiated with the Commerce Commission to avoid the regulator taking control of its prices.

Auckland power lines company Vector and national grid operator Transpower face similar negotiations.
