Transpower to Aa3 Moody's rating

Ratings agency Moody's has downgraded Transpower's long-term ratings to Aa3 from Aa2, affecting about $1 billion of debt securities.

Transpower said the change brought Moody's rating in line with S&P's rating so would have no effect on its ability to access credit or the cost of credit.
