Electricity has been restored to several eastern suburbs in Auckland following an outage this afternoon.
A total of 1464 properties in St Heliers, Glen Innes and Glendowie were affected when electricity went out shortly after 4pm.
A Vector spokeswoman said workers were still looking into the cause of the outage, but that it appeared there was an issue with an undeground cable in the area.
Electricity was restored just after 6.30pm.
Today's issue follows the big power outage last October, when residents in Remuera, Mt Wellington, Sylvia Park, St Heliers, Glendowie, Kohimarama, Mission Bay and Otahuhu faced having no power for a number of days.
