New Zealand spot power prices fell over the past week as storage levels in the nation's hydro-electricity lakes were steady, further easing concerns over winter power supplies.
Prices at the North Island reference point of Haywards fell 6.4 per cent to an average NZ$66.79 per MWh, while at the South Island reference point of Benmore they fell 6.1 per cent, to an average NZ$67.28 per MWh.
