London crude oil prices are tipped to rise today after rebels in Nigeria attacked a Royal Dutch Shell terminal, cutting exports from Africa's largest producer by almost 20 per cent.
Shell closed its EA offshore field and the Forcados oil port in the Niger Delta at the weekend halting shipments from the 400,000 barrel a day terminal. Militants also took nine foreign oil workers hostage and attacked two oil pipelines.
