Oil spikes on Iran worries

Crude oil rose to its highest price in three weeks after Iran said any US action against its nuclear research programme risked disrupting shipments.

Crude hit US$73.55 a barrel after Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said the US could "seriously endanger energy flow in the region".
