Oil fell more than US$1 to US$91 a barrel yesterday, hit by worries of heavier financial losses that would drain the US economy and hurt demand at a time when inventories of crude and petrol are rising.
US light crude for March delivery dropped US$1.31 or 1.4 per cent to US$91.02 a barrel, reversing a gain of US0.69c on Wednesday's close.
