New Zealand Refining Company says its Marsden Pt oil refinery is running at full production after a planned maintenance shutdown in February.
The refinery processed 5.9 million barrels from January to March.
The average gross refinery margin was US$9.31 ($16.48) a barrel in the January to March period.
This translated into US$8.86 a barrel after adjustment.
During March refining margins dropped to around US$5 a barrel.
The processing fee charged to customers for the January to March period was $68.9 million.
