New Zealand Refining has appointed Ken Rivers as its new chief executive.
Rivers is general manager of Shell's Stanlow Refinery in Britain and is a past president of the UK Petroleum Industry Association. He will succeed Jerome Kerrigan from August 16.
NZ Refining shares were up 5c to $6.35 yesterday having ranged between $6 and $8.15 over the past year.
