A multi-billion-dollar Government energy package announced on Tuesday, which removes fuel taxes from all off-road farm activities, will boost the competitiveness of Australia's big agricultural export sector but was not expected to greatly boost production, experts said.
"A good move. Very pleased. But financially its not huge," said Keith Perrett, president of the main grower body Grains Council of Australia.
