Cue Energy, an oil and gas exploration company with interests in the new Maari oil field off Taranaki, is listing on the New Zealand stock exchange tomorrow.
The field began production in February and further finds since then amount to more than 100 million barrels of recoverable oil.
New Zealand's largest locally owned energy producer, Todd Energy, owns 27 per cent of Cue and another major shareholder is Singapore Petroleum which has just over 16 per cent.
Cue also has operations in Australia, Indonesia and Papua New Guinea.
It is also listed on the Australian market.
