KEY POINTS:
New Zealander Anne Quinn has joined other senior executives from oil giant BP in moving to New York-based private equity firm Riverstone.
Quinn - a senior vice-president who headed BP's gas, and power division until September - has teamed up with the former chief executive of BP, Lord Browne of Madingley, at Riverstone.
Riverstone has invested US$6 billion ($8 billion) in 41 companies.
