KEY POINTS:
Infratil has acquired options to take full ownership of Australian electricity and gas retailer Victoria Electricity.
The New Zealand-listed infrastructure investor already owns 58 per cent of Victoria Energy. The buyout price is in the $120 to $142 million range, depending on growth targets being met.
Infratil also has stakes in Trustpower, Wellington International Airport and New Zealand Bus; which it bought from the Scottish owners of Stagecoach.
Last year it sold its five per cent share in the Port of Tauranga, netting a gain of $38 million.
