KEY POINTS:
Whakatane-based electricity lines company Horizon Energy is forecasting after tax profit between $5.7 million and $6 million for the year to the end of March 2009.
That compares with $5.5 million in the latest year, and a previous forecast of between $5.3 million and $5.6 million for the current year.
Chairman Rob Tait said yesterday the company had crystallised the amount of an arbitration award relating to a protracted dispute with a supplier.
The pre-tax award amount including cost recoveries totalled $1.5 million.
