Horizon Energy Distribution has reported a net profit after tax of $5.9 million for the year ended March 31, up 14.6 per cent from $5.15 million in the same period last year.
The Whakatane electricity network provider is paying 9c a share dividend on June 15, taking the year's total to 17c.
