KEY POINTS:
Horizon Energy is forecasting an improved after-tax profit of about $5.5 million for the year to March.
The Whakatane-based company, which last year reported a net profit of $5.2 million, previously forecast a result of $4.3 million to $4.5 million this year.
But resolution of several "commercial matters" was expected to add $250,000 and revaluations of Horizon's distribution assets, $800,000.
