Horizon Energy posts $4.88m profit

Whakatane-based lines company Horizon Energy has posted a net profit of $4.88 million for the six months to September, up 55 per cent on $3.14 million for the same period last year.

The result was achieved on revenue of $13.30 million, up from $12.67 million last year.

Horizon will pay an 8c unimputed special dividend, with 4c being paid with the company's interim dividend in December and another 4c with the final dividend.
