The Government has made five new appointments to the boards of two state-owned power generators earmarked for partial privatisation - Genesis and Meridian.
The Minister for State Owned Enterprises, Tony Ryall, said Alison Andrew, Andrew Clements and John Leuchars had been appointed to Genesis.
Andrew is general manager for Orica Chemicals NZ and an engineer by training.
Clements, a former managing director of Emerald Capital, is a private equity specialist.
Leuchars is a director of KiwiRail and an engineer with international consulting experience.
