Boardroom shuffle at Contact

Origin Energy's purchase of Edison Mission's controlling stake in Contact Energy was completed yesterday, triggering a boardroom reshuffle. Those to exit are Edison-affiliated directors Robert Edgell, Stephen Barrett, Raymond Vickers and Kevin Smith and independent director Patrick Strange.

Barrett remains as chief executive. Origin Energy executives Grant King, Bruce Beeren and Karen Moses join the board.
