David Henderson's new 33-level Precinct apartment block on Lorne St is almost finished, with most units sold.
Henderson's Princes Wharf-based Kitchener Group has sold 175 apartments in the 194-unit block for between $148,000 and $800,000. Mainzeal Construction is the main contractor.
It is selling penthouses of 121sq m to 133sq m for $1.6 million to $1.7 million.
Cyndi Nola, of Kitchener, said Precinct's penthouses on level 33 would have spa pools on the decks, gas fireplaces, designer walk-in wardrobes, outdoor entertainer kitchens, wooden floors, state-of-the-art kitchens and luxury bathrooms.
Precinct, overlooking Albert Park, also has studios and one- and two-bedroom units. Work is due to be finished in December.
Two-bedroom units have wrap-around balconies of 47sq m and one-bedroom units have balconies of 11sq m to 24sq m. Some studio units have also been built in the block, which will have a restaurant and cafe on its ground floor.
