KEY POINTS:
Marshall Day Acoustics has released a series of images showing designs for a new $400 million French building, after the firm was chosen to work on the development.
Last week, the New Zealand company won the right to design a concert hall in Paris, along with French architect Jean Nouvel.
Together, they beat 97 international design teams to win the competition for the building for La Philharmonie de Paris.
For the last 20 years, the City of Paris has been planning a new concert hall.
A spokeswoman for Marshall Day said the company was also involved in several projects in China, and had recently opened an office in Ireland, adding to its nine others overseas.
Director Chris Day was going to Paris this month and would spend a fortnight working with Nouvel.
Fellow director Harold Marshall would be leaving Auckland tomorrow to visit China then Paris, the spokeswoman said.
"This relatively quiet New Zealand company is making its mark in China, Australia, Beijing, the United States, Ireland and now Paris."
