Mainzeal Property and Construction has won contracts for the $83 million redevelopment of Rotorua Hospital and the $16.5 million phase-one stage redevelopment of Bowen Hospital in Wellington.
Mainzeal won the contract for the new $30 million Braemar Hospital in Hamilton this year.
Mainzeal will build the new Bowen Centre with specialist consulting rooms, a new endoscopy suite, expanded and better radiology services and more carparking. Construction is due to begin immediately.
Chief executive Peter Gomm said the Rotorua job would present unusual technical challenges and safety requirements working in a region with geothermal activity.
