Fletchers' Penrose site changes hands

Fletcher Building's head office complex in Auckland has been sold for $36 million.

Bayleys Real Estate says it is the biggest commercial property sale in New Zealand so far this year.

The sale includes a number of office and industrial buildings on 2.2 hectares of land in Penrose.

Fletcher Building has occupied the site for the past 65 years and will remain onsite, leasing it back from new owner Carrus Corporation.
