Auckland Council is understood to be releasing maps tomorrow showing large swathes of suburban Auckland being rezoned for multiple townhouses and apartments.
The maps show the council's latest proposal for the Unitary Plan and include many "out of scope" changes, which mean they are not supported by any submission to the Unitary Plan.
The council has no plans to tell affected residents of the proposed changes to their properties.
