Malaysian architects have joined a national outcry against red tape, revealing that civil servants rejected a building plan twice because it was drafted using the wrong shade of purple and then incorrectly folded.
"We want to make Malaysia more competitive but these regulations only serve to slow us down," a spokesman for the Malaysian Institute of Architects fumed to the New Straits Times.
