New Zealand gourmet burger chain operator BurgerFuel has opened its second store in the Middle East, with the new Dubai location expected to provide more scope than the less tourist-oriented Saudi Arabia.
BurgerFuel expects to open more stores within the United Arab Emirates following the launch of its beachfront Dubai store by local franchisee Alphamed Group.
NZAX-listed BurgerFuel recently posted a $552,983 annual loss due to Middle East establishment costs, on revenue of $8.7 million. Shares closed unchanged at 40c yesterday.
