The ANZ's latest World Commodity Price Index recorded a 0.5 per cent rise in October, lifting it 18.9 per cent higher than October 2003.
The bank's dairy index is at its highest level since March 1996. Lamb, skins, kiwifruit and aluminium also rose.
However, the strong dollar drove the NZ Dollar Commodity Price Index down 2.7 per cent.
