Domino's Pizza Enterprises says its New Zealand outlets have shown the strongest growth of its businesses around the world in the past year.
The Brisbane-based company announced its full year financial result yesterday with net profit after tax up by 50.4 per cent to A$45.8 million ($50.3 million).
Domino's Group chief executive Don Meij said the result had been boosted by continued growth in New Zealand - currently the group's top performer.
"We had a phenomenal year there last year. Our like-for-like growth in New Zealand is double-digit, and as a result of that profits are double digit as well," Meij said.
New Zealand general manager Scott Bush, who was appointed in August last year, said that while the company did not release individual results, the overall results were a good reflection of Domino's here.
