Technical issues yesterday caused a delay for Kiwibank customers getting their payments.
Customer complaints started yesterday at around 10 pm after regular benefits, superannuation and tax refunds were not received in the usual time frame.
Kiwibank spokesperson Bruce Thompson said processing of payments were delayed by a few hours, however all payments were processed and received by 11:30 pm last night.
Thompson said it was business was as normal from 11:30 pm - but he understood the payment delay could cause anxiety.
"We hate to cause inconvenience to our customers," Thompson said. "There were technical errors on our part but all has been fixed."
Customer payments which were usually in accounts between 7-9 pm were not received until 11:30 pm yesterday.
