The man who wore much of the blame in the six month long Bridgecorp fraud trial will be sentenced today.
Robert Roest has been in custody since he was found guilty on all 18 charges of misleading investors.
Throughout the trial, Rod Petricevic's defence team painted the former finance director as the central figure in the case.
Roest was found guilty on the same charges as Petricevic - who was sentenced to six and a half years' jail last month.
At the time of the verdicts, Justice Venning told Roest, imprisonment was inevitable.
