Auckland city and the North Shore appear to be leading the way in a property market upsurge.
Latest figures from the BNZ Real Estate Institute Market Survey show 28 per cent of agent responses report buyers are more motivated and looking to purchase.
Thirty per cent of North Shore real estate agents have reported more interested buyers.
The figures suggest 23 per cent fewer buyers in Wellington are more motivated; while in Christchurch 22 per cent fewer buyers are interested.
