ASB Bank received the New Zealand Bank of the Year award last night at the International Bank of the Year awards held in London.
The award was given based on the ASB "Card Control" function that allows credit card customers the option to control security features on the ASB mobile app.

ASB chief executive Barbara Chapman said the financial services landscape was changing rapidly and she was delighted the bank had been recognised for "delivering outstanding experiences in the face of increased regulation and a digital revolution."
She said the bank focused on providing unbeatable services and doing the best for the community.
