Wellington Airport bucks trend

Domestic passenger numbers through Wellington Airport in February showed a reversal of the trend of recent months, growing 3.5 per cent, says the airport's majority owner, Infratil.

International passenger numbers fell during the month by 6 per cent, a lower rate of decline than in the previous three months.
