Air travel growth in the Asia-Pacific region fell 3.6 per cent in October from a year ago as high oil prices and a slowing global economy choked demand.
The Kuala Lumpur-based Association of Asia Pacific Airlines said its 17 member airlines, including Air New Zealand, flew 10.9 million passengers in October.
