Air New Zealand's Queensland-based engineering arm, Tasman Aviation Enterprises, has won a A$90 million ($103 million) contract with the Royal Australian Air Force.
The four-year contract with the Australian Defence Materiel Organisation is to commercialise the F-111 Engines Business Unit at the RAAF Amberley base near Ipswich.
Tasman already has a contract to provide workshop support to the F-111 maintenance community at Amberley.
