Qantas Airways filled more seats with paying passengers in July than a year earlier as air traffic recovers from Sars and war in Iraq.
Qantas filled 82 per cent of seats in July. It filled 81.7 per cent a year earlier.
On international flights, Qantas sold 82.1 per cent of its seats in July, compared with 82.3 per cent a year earlier.
At home, it filled 85.3 per cent of seats in the month with paying passengers, up from 81.2 per cent last year.
Its Australian Airlines all-economy international unit, which started services in October, filled 61.1 per cent of seats in July.
