Australian national carrier Qantas says it will receive compensation from French manufacturer Airbus for the late delivery of 12 super-jumbo A380 aircraft.
Qantas chief executive Geoff Dixon yesterday confirmed that Qantas would be receiving compensation, under the contracts it had with Airbus.
"We won't just seek it, we will get it," he said.
"We have contracts with conditions that require Airbus to compensate us based on delivery timetables and many of those have been activated."
