A 16 per cent increase in Australasian visitor arrivals to Samoa has led to a record profit for Polynesia Blue.
The airline, jointly owned by Virgin Blue and the Samoan government, posted a pre-tax profit of 10.5 million tala ($5.36 million) for the year to June.
Polynesia Blue said this more than tripled its maiden profit of $1.19 million from October 1, 2005, to June 30, 2006.
