Macquarie Airports said passengers at Sydney airport rose 3.6 per cent in August from a year ago, gaining for a second month since severe acute respiratory syndrome and the Iraq war slowed demand.
International passenger numbers at Sydney airport, Australia's busiest, rose 0.3 per cent in August from the month a year ago and domestic passenger numbers rose 5.4 per cent in the month, Macquarie said.
