Qantas is not seeking damages from Rolls-Royce over faulty engines that have grounded its A380 aircraft fleet.
Safety checks are continuing on six aircraft that have been idle since last Thursday when a Trent 900 engine exploded on a Qantas flight from Singapore.
"There's no talk of [damages]; we're very much focused on working in partnership with Rolls-Royce," Qantas spokeswoman Olivia Wirth told ABC TV.
Meanwhile, Qantas hasn't ruled out appealing against the A$12 million ($15.3 million) fine imposed by the EU for price-fixing air cargo between 1999 and 2006.
