Air New Zealand's pending foray into the online holiday business drew a muted response yesterday from travel wholesaler Gullivers Travel Group, which is in the midst of a $104 million share float.
The airline is about to start selling holiday packages on its website, which has until now just sold airfares.
Gullivers founder Andrew Bagnall said through a spokesman that the airline had been running a small travel wholesale business for some time.
If the change was simply "migrating" that business to the internet, it might not make much of a difference.
