KEY POINTS:
Air New Zealand is increasing the number of 'pacific premium economy' seats on its Boeing 747 fleet for a second time, following what it says is strong customer demand.
The seats offer passengers more leg and arm room at a higher cost than standard economy.
The airline's fleet of eight 747 aircraft will be reconfigured to replace 15 standard economy seats on the lower deck with eight premium economy seats.
The work is scheduled to be completed by the end of October.
