KEY POINTS:
Air New Zealand's new advertising campaign will take flight nationwide tomorrow on television, billboards and in cinemas.
The "Amazing Journeys. Every Day" campaign replaces the "Being There Is Everything" series which ran from late 2002 until the end of 2005.
Richard Maddocks, creative director at Colenso BBDO - which produced them both - said the challenge was to create a campaign that dramatised emotions the airline could evoke and rekindled the connection with land and culture.
"We also wanted [to] bring back some of the magic of flight to the brand."
As with previous campaigns, staff submitted their own stories of journeys which helped to inspire three new adverts of mother, grandfather and chef.
Air New Zealand general manager marketing Steve Bayliss said that the campaign would showcase the country's stunning landscape through breathtaking aerial shots.
"It creates powerful dreamlike sequences and encourages viewers to have a romantic connection with, and sense of pride in, their country."
The stories captured the scenic magic of New Zealand, the spirit of its people and the character of the airline. "They emotionally celebrate the precious human connections we help our customers make every day."
