KEY POINTS:
Manukau City Mayor Sir Barry Curtis has confirmed another approach for the council's 10.5 per cent stake in Auckland International Airport.
Sir Barry would not say who the latest approach was from, but The Dominion Post newspaper today said it understood it was from Dubai International Airport.
In mid-June it was revealed that the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board had offered both Manukau and Auckland city councils $3.10 a share for their airport stakes.
Meanwhile, Auckland International Airport said more than one party was doing due diligence on the airport in preparation for a takeover offer.
