Hawaiian Airlines has had a relationship with TV programme Hawaii Five-0 for the past five years.
Its aircraft are seen in opening credits of the remake of the classic crime drama series and chief executive Mark Dunkerley has made a cameo appearance, playing himself. In a brief scene following a bloody killing on a plane he tells cop actors the airline will co-operate fully with the investigation.

He said the airline took a commercial risk by committing to the show at an early stage.
