Air New Zealand is making final preparations for its first evening flight from Auckland to Queenstown - due to touch down on Monday night.
Significant preparations have been made to prepare Queenstown airport to receive evening flights.
This, the fourth video in a series of behind the scenes films, explains the process from the carrier's side.
"It's really exciting to be at the end of this project after such a long time after so much hard work by the team," Captain Graham Cheal says.
Planes have been fitted with a "head-up display" and pilots have been practising the landing in darkness.
