Airways, the state-owned enterprise that runs air traffic control systems, has made an after-tax profit of $9.2 million, up 22 per cent from the year before. The company paid a dividend of $12 million to its Government owners and returned $2.6 million in rebates to its airline customers.
Airways also uses an "Enterprise Value Added" method of reporting its results. This method showed it achieved a profit of $5.7 million, up from $3.9 million last year.
