KEY POINTS:
The New Zealand Superannuation Fund has increased its stake in Auckland Airport by more than 1 per cent to 9.6 per cent.
The increase came after investment companies AMP Capital, Brook Asset Management and Morrison and Co all raised their stake in the airport on behalf of the fund.
Morrison and Co is the infrastructure investment company of Lloyd Morrison who last year became a director of Auckland Airport.
The airport's share price closed up 2c to $1.70.
